As a director of photography I have worked on several feature films, short films and commercials. I have a passion for lighting and always strive to deliver a level of excellence. 

My main focus in film work is working with the director to craft an image of his/her vision on the screen in the most aesthetically appropriate manner to the script. 

I work towards finding a way that visually tells the story of the of the film

I have worked in the camera department on many professional sets including Steve Jobs (Danny Boyle, 2015), the new blockbuster San Andreas (Brad Peyton, 2015), Big Sur (Michael Polish 2013), Chasing Mavericks (Curtis Hanson and Michael Apted, 2012), Howl (Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman, 2010), and The Conspirator (Robert Redford, 2010).

In addition to my narrative film work, I have done commercial work for companies like AOL and Skype, Google, Dove, Chrysler, Sales force and Toyota. 

I am an ARRI camera specialist and I also work with other cameras regularly. 

I am a big cinephile and lover of the art and craft of filmmaking and films from all over the world including films by Federico Fellini, Michelangelo Antonioni, Wim Wenders and Terrence Malick.

In my work, I draw strong inspiration from master filmmaker Stanley Kubrick for his epic style and perfection on a grand scale; Hong Kong director Wong Kar-wai for his romantic visual style; and American auteur Francis Coppola for his strong, character driven storytelling. 

I am currently based in San Francisco and serve the West Coast and American markets. However, I am available to travel anywhere in the world.
