Weprin Films began as an initiative designed to bring commercial advertising and quality art-house filmmaking together in creating captivating narrative short films that both display a product in all the beauty of cinema while telling a story that connects with an audience. These films are not commercials, they are dramas that aim to stand on their own rights as bespoke art house short films.

We are filmmakers interested in creating compelling cinema not advertising. The concept behind Black Cat Cinema is about creating real drama and scripted character driven stories that look and feel exactly like a serious independent film or even larger blockbuster films. We will work to find a story that features your brand and products within the story but more importantly, gives the audience something to explore and become intrigued with.

Commercial marketing is extremely important for companies and will continue to be. However, like most people, we don’t always appreciate being subjected to viewing it; especially if the content is uncreative and dull. Our goal is to create high quality short films with good story lines, excellent acting and stunning visuals while placing products within the storyline in an elegant way. Instead of crudely pushing products in the audience’s face, we want to engage our viewers with dramatic film content that draws them into a story with memorable lasting impressions. The audience will be entertained and come away with a meaningful way to remember the products they saw in the film. The best commercials in history all have something in common, they are memorable and cause lasting impressions.
